New Music: Talk A Good Game by Kelly Rowland

Well…well…well Kelendria Trene “Kelly” Rowland finally decided to give us her new album Talk A Good Game, which is her fourth studio album. It is about damn time! I can’t say I have been waiting and anticipating it, but I guess better late than never huh?

The album includes production from The Dream and Mike Will Made It, just to name a few. The album also includes collaborations with Wiz Khalifa(Gone) Pusha T(Street Life), and the reunion of Destiny’s Child(You Changed). While I am not jumping up and down about this album, I must say it is a fairly decent album

Stand out tracks are: Kisses Down Low, Stand in Front of Me, Put Your Name on It, and #1. “You Changed” which is the Destiny’s Child reunion song fails to capture that DC3 magic for me. I am curious to know why “Ice” featuring Lil Wayne was left off the album? Maybe there was a good reason to leave it off who knows?

Final Rating: 🌟🌟🌟

Will you be picking up Kelly’s album?

I will have to agree with you wholeheartedly on the rating, but I will say this is the most anticipated I’ve ever been for a Kelly album… Did it live up to my expectation? No. Is it a bad album? No.

In addition to your picks, I actually like “Street Life” and “Skywalker”… I think my love for the DC3 reunion is more nostalgic than it is the track itself… I will say though, Kelly is always at her best (vocally) when she feeds off Beyonce…
