“No New Friends” rapper Drake has joined in with J. Cole on his apology for derogatory autism lyric on his song,”Jodeci Freestyle,” which sparked controversy earlier this week.

Aubrey had this to say,

I share responsibility and offer my sincerest apologies for the pain this has caused,” Drake wrote on his website. “Individuals with autism have brilliant and creative minds, and their gifts should not be disparaged or discounted.

He also promised to remove the lyric from the song. He also added,

I’m grateful for the opportunity to try to right this wrong. J. Cole and I believe that it is the right, responsible and respectful decision to remove the lyric from the song

Has J. Cole started a new trend of rappers taking responsibility for their words and actions?

Thoughts?

Yeah Jermaine is a class act, and Aubrey is so sensitive and really is not afraid to say you hurt him, and he saw the “read” notification on his iMessage he sent you, and he feels some kinda way about it! LOL
