Album Review: The 20/20 Experience Part 2 Of 2-Justin Timberlake

20-20-2-of-2

Let start off by saying that Justin Timberlake’s, The 20/20 Experience Part 1 of 1, is a masterpiece. I can listen to that album from beginning to end without skipping tracks. Welp! The same can not be said for JT’s newest offering, The 20/20 Experience Part 2 of 2. Sometimes it is just best to leave well enough alone. This new album in my honest opinion sounds like the tracks that were left on the floor in the studio. The songs on this album are nothing in comparison to part 1 of 1’s songs.  Before I knew it, I had skipped all the way to end of the album with nothing to show for it.

I’m perplexed as to how this happened. Honestly to even call this Part 2 of 2 is an insult to Part 1 of 1. This album clearly sounds like it was just material to fulfill the requirements of a record contract. The guest appearances from Jay-Z and Drake don’t do much to help the project either.  I honestly listened to this album like three times and it did not resonate with me. I don’t have favorite tracks. I am just at a loss where this album is concerned.

I guess I will continue to play Part 1 of 1,because this one ain’t  it! As always don’t take my word for it, form your own opinion.

Final Rating 2/5

What do you think of the album?
