I am not exactly sure what happened to me, but I used to be a voracious reader, but here lately I have completely fallen off the wagon. Television, social media, and life are partly to blame for my lack of reading, but I have vowed to change that. I am challenging myself to read a book on African American studies every month.Upon doing a Google search I found a list of 210 of the best books on African American studies HERE
The Autobiography of Malcolm X is the selection for June. I read this book years ago but felt it appropriate based upon the current state of affairs in the United States.
