Things just keep getting better for Toni Braxton!
I guess it is true what they say, “There is sun after rain,” Grammy Award winners Toni Braxton and Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds have been tapped to appear in upcoming broadway musical After Midnight. Braxton’s plate is full what with the upcoming release of a duets album with Babyface, Love, Marriage & Divorce on December 3.
The two two have signed a deal for a two-week run in the production, which celebrates jazz icon Duke Ellington’s years at Harlem’s famous Cotton Club. Production will begin November 13 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, but Toni and Babyface will not make their appearance until March 18-30, 2014. The play will mark Edmond’s Broadway debut, but this is not Braxton’s first time on the Broadway stage, she previously appeared in Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” and “Aida.”
American Idol Fantasia is scheduled to appear in the production as well.
This production sounds like it is going to be a sight to see. In the meantime you can turn up the lead single Hurt You, from Love, Marriage,& Divorce
