Oh…..Christopher Maurice Brown *blank stare*
So…Chris Brown is featured in the upcoming issue of Jet Magazine. In the article he speaks about Jay-Z, The Rihanna/Kimchi
Karrueche love triangle, anger issues, and Trayvon Martin.
Check out some excerpts:
On the media:
“The media is full of yellow journalism. A lot of things I say, they will flip it. Instead of them getting off on all the positive stuff that I do, they will bring out the negative and draw out that story.”
On Jay Z:
“No disrespect, because I’m a fan, but nobody brings up the fact that [Jay Z] stabbed somebody and sold drugs. He gets a pass.”
On Trayvon Martin
“I identify with Trayvon 100 percent as far as living in 2013 and still dealing with blatant racism. This generation is so used to racism that it’s normal; we don’t care. We aren’t on drugs or catching AIDS, but they still look at us as ni**as.”
On anger issues:
“You have to go through the struggle before you can get to the good part. I don’t try to lash out at people, or be as mad or impulsive as I used to be. I got to the point where it’s only so much you can take from the master, you feel me? I’ve taken my fair share of lashings.”
On his relationships with Karrueche Tran and Rihanna:
“Relationships are the most difficult part. That’s why I was honest with those two girls and I put out that video. My ex and I broke up because of the “situation” and she had moved on. I fell in love with another girl. Then my ex came back, so it was like, ‘What is a man to do?’ I told them both the truth. I didn’t do the sucker role.”
Ok…I am trying to figure out what exactly Jay-Z has to do with at all any of your current problems Christopher! To try and compare what you did to Jay-Z selling drugs(which is no secret) and him stabbing Lance Un Riveria is just stupid! The majority of your problems stem from you not being able to keep your mouth closed and stay the f*ck off Twitter! Do you not have a publicist that can make statements for you? Can you not control yourself?
Young Christopher what I need you to understand is there are consequences and repercussions for every action some good and some bad, that’s life! Yes the Rihanna thing happened years ago, but sadly that is something that is going to follow you for the rest of your life. Do I think that the media should keep bringing it up? No. Do I think you create necessary problems for yourself that could be avoided? Yes.
Here is a list of things I think you can do to keep you out of trouble with the media
1. Stop sending out tweets without first having your publicist review them as a matter of fact, how about you don’t tweet anything let your publicist take care of that.
2. Stop feeling like you have to respond to everything that people say about you, silence is golden! People only push your buttons because they know you are going react negatively, STOP GIVING PEOPLE THAT POWER!
3. Just GOTDAMN sing and dance! You do both well, so how about you just focus on killing the stage and leave everything on the stage!
4. When you preface a statement with, “No Disrespect,” what you say after is 9 times out of 10 disrespectful.
If you follow just ONE of those tips, I promise you will be better off. I honestly think you are a talented young man with a promising future in music and film, but if you continue down this current path, it ain’t lookin too good!
