Mary J. Blige Delays New Album Until Early 2022

The Queen of Hip Hop Soul has once again pushed back her album. It is not projected to arrive in early 2022, around the same time as her co-headlining spot on Super Bowl LVI Pepsi Halftime Show performance in February 2022.

Blige has been recently spotted in the studio with London On Da Track, Jeremih, and Bongo ByTheWay. During an interview with Chicago WGN-TV’s Dean Richards she alluded that new music was heard our way.

“Yes, I have new music coming this month,” Blige told Richards. “Three new singles coming and an album in January following. So, keep your ears to the street for November.”

The new album was previously scheduled to be released in November. The lead single was supposed to drop last month but that didn’t happen. I am always HERE for a MJB album and interested to hear the content of this album especially after her messy divorce.

MJB stays booked and busy signing on the for season two of Power Book II: Ghost. The series returns to Starz on November 21.

Whut, say you?
